Virtue Behavior Consultants
Our Team
Terri Thieman, MA, BCBA, President
Terri graduated from Indiana University in 2014 with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. Before attending graduate school, she began working as a direct therapist delivering 1:1, in-home behavior therapy to children who have autism. She gained experience supporting children and families in the home, in the community, and at school. Seeing the incredible, immediate progress kids make by applying the principles of human behavior inspired her to pursue a masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Throughout her coursework, she accrued over 1500 hours of supervised independent fieldwork, then passed the Behavior Analyst Certification Board exam. She now supervises teams, regularly collaborates with other professional providers, and pursues ongoing certifications and training to continue to support children and their families in their natural environments.
Behavior Technicians
To protect the privacy of our clients and adhere to standards established by HIPAA and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s Ethical Compliance Code, we choose not to publicly publish pictures and biographies of our staff. Nonetheless, Virtue prides itself on hiring highly competent and experienced individuals to provide direct therapy to those whom we serve. We understand and respect that inviting people into your home for several hours each day is no easy feat, and we maintain high expectations and qualification requirements for staff members’ reliability, integrity, responsibility, sensitivity, and competence. Staff receive ongoing supervision and training from qualified Board Certified Behavior Analysts throughout treatment for each family we serve.
